Vanessa Magaña

Vanessa is the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, supporting the Financial Health Network’s mission by ensuring the organization itself is in good financial health. As a member of the broader Finance team, Vanessa helps to manage planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Vanessa learned the importance of budgeting and money management early in life, when she traveled solo for six months through Central and South America. She is passionate about financial literacy and making a positive impact in the financial sphere.

Vanessa’s expertise in financial planning and analysis comes from her background in building finance and accounting departments from the ground up at companies like HardPin Media LLC and Just Media, Inc. In these roles, she gained experience managing millions of dollars in revenue, providing clarity on company finances, and giving recommendations for improvement based on financial performance.

Vanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and History from North Park University.
